Fleeting: A Podcast about Love and Sex
Fleeting is a podcast that explores the past experiences of young adults, as guests discuss their definitions of romance and sexuality. These stories take place during the early uncomfortable high school dates, to the growing hookup culture of college, until now.

Hosted by Briana Johnson, a University of Michigan alum, the conversation takes an introspective look at the ways our pasts shape our current sexual and romantic preferences and begin to solidify our views moving forward in life.

To White Cinema: Sincerely, A Young Black Girl
"At first, I thought a black girl could never fit onto the silver screen with dignity. She would either have to give up her whole self or become the image of stereotype."

"To White Cinema, Sincerely A Young Black Girl" is the internal and external exploration of Black women's experiences with and within cinema. The author takes an in-depth look at moments in her life that shaped her interactions with Black women in media while analyzing the experiences of Black actresses within white-centric narratives. The memoir discusses stereotypes, romantic comedies, and Black fantasy.

Afropunk: The Subculture that Challenges Subculture
Historical and contemporary analysis on the existance of punk culture in Black communities. Submitted for Comm 414: Fashion and Media, this essay focuses on the importance of the Afropunk scene as a political, aesthetic, and cultural expression of the Black experience and Diaspora.

Death During College
A reflection on the passing of a loved one during college. The essay focuses on the stress of school being compounded with the guilt of missing out on the end of a loved one's life. The author offers introspection and advice on how to cope with these feelings during periods of extreme stress.
